This one is for my fellow book lovers. In this short, witty, ridiculously relatable book, Bogel puts into words what we've been feeling for ages. At every chapter, I found myself laughing, smiling, or sighing with relief: "You too! Oh thank god! I thought I was the only one!" From how you organize your library, to your book twin (hey boo thang!), to wandering aimlessly through a bookstore because you can feel a book calling you but you just haven't found it yet, Bogel eloquently and clearly articulates what it means to be a reader and how important that part of identity is to us. "I'd Rather Be Reading" is about the whole reason we read in the first place: to know we're not alone. And my fellow book lovers, Anne Bogel assures us that we certainly not alone in our love affair with literature.
